Asheville, North Carolina is full of newly placed Moog related art and pseudo-sculptures as music lovers descend upon the town for Moogfest. The mannequin above is just outside the Asheville Civic Center, just off to the right if you’re facing the entrance from the street. The three day electronic music festival begins today, Friday, October 29, 2010.
Tonight I’m going to Asheville for one night of a music festival with my friend Katie. The last show we have plans to see starts at 1 a.m. and we decided not to bother with hotel reservations. We have big plans to stay up all night—and we have sleeping bags in case that plan falls through.
People keep telling me this sounds crazy. But, you know, what the picture says.
Don’t forget: Tonight, October 29, 2010, Girl Talk plays the Asheville Civic Center as a part of the Moogfest festival in Asheville, North Carolina. Their set begins at 1:00 a.m. (I suppose that, technically, their set begins on October 30).
